Mason Kuhr's Tao of Truth

2 People To Be Most Grateful For & Being An Enigma

@masonkuhr Episode 3

Have you ever wondered how the departure of certain people from our lives might actually create a pathway to deeper spiritual connections and personal growth? Join me as i share a Thanksgiving message that dives into gratitude for those who have left and how their absence brings us closer to God. Together, we explore the profound distinction between merely believing in God and truly knowing Him, unraveling the spiritual journey that unfolds when we embrace this understanding.

I encourage you to break free from societal norms, just as I did during this spontaneous podcast recording in a grocery store. This liberation leads us to the beautiful freedom of self-expression, allowing our true selves to shine brightly.

Speaker 1:

What is up guys? Welcome to the Tower of Truth. It's your boy, mason Core, and I got a Thanksgiving message for you today, and after that I'm going to transition into a message that just came to me. It has nothing to do with Thanksgiving at all, but it's still really good. So today is Thanksgiving.

Speaker 1:

I just put out on my socials a little message about the two people to be grateful for the most and again, I'm doing this on my phone, so I'm about to actually walk into the grocery store, so this is like a live walking with me type of podcast. I really I'm kind of enjoying this, like just off the dome, not scheduling it type of thing, but just making it like really raw, almost like we're walking down the street and having a conversation together. So that's what we're going to be doing. But anyway, my message about the two people to be the most grateful for on Thanksgiving. So you know I was thinking a lot about this. Who am I the most grateful for? Who are the people that really stuck around or, you know, stuck? What am I trying to say, like the people who come to mind the most when I think about who I'm grateful for and yes, I'm grateful for the people in my life that I love, but I realized, you know what, the ones who really helped create the most change in my life for the ones who've left. And so, before I say the second person, I want to acknowledge the first is that the people who left our lives, the people who are no longer with us, man, I want you to be so grateful for those people Like I want you to think about. If they had not left, there would not have been the void that showed you who really mattered to you. It would not have created the space that would have allowed the people to come into your life who truly have stuck with you and made an impact and led to those relationships where you're like, wow, this is so fulfilling and this is so deep to my soul fulfilling and so deep to my soul and man, those people like I can think about how much in the time that they weren't showing up how I needed, you know, when I was down or when I was struggling, or you know any of those things. It's like those people made me lean so much more on myself and they also brought me closer to God, and so that's the second person I want to acknowledge is God.

Speaker 1:

You know you may believe in God, you may know God. There is a huge difference in that, because if you believe in God, you're still living in hell, but if you know God, you're truly living in heaven, and it's a different type of relationship when you actually experience God. But and God is at the end of the day, it's like those people leaving. It shows you who has been there the whole time, since the beginning, all the way to now and all the way into the future. God has been with you, been inside of you, Walking with you the whole time, guiding you Into the lessons that you needed to learn that would bring you closer to him. And so I want you, on this Thanksgiving, to be so grateful for those two people. And as you're sitting around your family, your friends, your loved ones, whoever it is, I want you to look at them and realize they're the ones who are still there because of these two people, the ones who left, and God, those people around you, are showing their true colors and makes you so much more grateful for them while you sit around them. And so that's like my quick little Thanksgiving message.

Speaker 1:

But you know the other thing I wanted to touch on that literally has nothing to do with any of that is. I want to talk about how fulfilling it is to be an enigma and why you should strive to be an enigma. Here's the thing I'm currently walking into the grocery store, right, and I'm realizing, like I'm out here doing this podcast, there's no rules to anything, and people look at me like I'm a lunatic and you know what it's like. That relationship with myself may look weird to other people on the outside because it's so unique, but it's really what leads to that freedom of self-expression. It's like, as I'm walking into the store, I have this ability to create things. I have the ability to share what is on my mind without feeling like I am blocked by something outside of me, and there's so much freedom in that.

Speaker 1:

And so, you know, strive to be an enigma in your life. That means like, double down on the things that you want to do in each moment that align with your soul, double down on the gifts that you have within that you want to share with people. And it's like don't even try and get anything from people. Share what authentically aligns with you, because that's what really leads to the fulfillment that you experience in your life, and I read a quote the other day God gives us gifts not for ourself. He gives us gifts to benefit other people.

Speaker 1:

And so if you're not sharing your gifts, like it's really a selfish thing to do honestly, like you could look at it that way, it is extremely selfish to not be sharing your gift because it's not about you at the end of the day. You know, if you go out in public and you're scared to do something, or you're worried about embarrassment or judgment or fear of rejection, whatever it is that comes from sharing your gifts and expressing it, it's because you're so focused on yourself. But at the end of the day, it it's because you're so focused on yourself but at the end of the day, it's not even about you. It's literally not even about you. It has nothing to do with you.

Speaker 1:

Your gift exists because you're meant to be the puzzle piece that fits into the puzzle in a certain way, and so it's not about you being the puzzle piece, it's about you completing the puzzle. The puzzle can't be complete without you. The purpose is the puzzle, not the piece. You can't have a full picture if you're only looking at a tiny part of it. The tiny part of it is just an expression of it and that can go deep too, like that's what humanity is. Um, let's see, what do I want here? I'm getting some sparkling water. Mountain Valley not sponsored is the best sparkling water by far. Pellegrino Used to love it, but it's not the best. So you can come at me, it's just facts, but anyway, yeah, what I was saying, like about that expression thing you're a tiny, tiny little expression of God in this puzzle of life and humanity and so bring your gifts out, be an enigma.

Speaker 1:

An enigma is, let's see, let's look up the definition of an enigma. Actually, I want to see what other people consider it and I use chat GPT for this. Now, I honestly think this is what's going to happen. I think chat GPT and things like that are going to completely put Google out of business in a way, I wouldn't say completely out of business, but you know, just like change the way it's used, cause I'm using chat GPT to look up these things more than I use Google now. So let's say definition of enigma.

Speaker 1:

An enigma is something or someone that is mysterious, listen to this, puzzling or difficult to understand. It can refer to a situation, event or person that is hard to interpret or explain. The term often implies a sense of intrigue or complexity that resists straightforward comprehension. Example the origin of an ancient artifact remains an enigma to archaeologists. She is an enigma revealing little about her thoughts or feelings, and so it's like you're a little piece of the puzzle.

Speaker 1:

It's crazy that I was just saying that, um, but, oops, excuse me again. Oh, oh, excuse me again. Oh, my bumper car is out here. I don't know if you guys can hear that, but like, excuse me, she goes. Oh, sorry, I'm running to her cart, oh, excuse me again. All right, getting some coconut water now. Coconut water is so good for your electrolytes. Get your potassium magnesium in there.

Speaker 1:

Wow, this podcast is all over the place, but I really love it. But again, like, this is what being an enigma is. I'm not scripting anything. There's not really a structure to it. Like you can structure things, but do you see how much just like randomly comes out of nowhere when I free flow? I'm looking at kale right now. Heads up, guys. Kale is actually very jacked up for your body. If one, it's not organic because it can have a ton of pesticides on it, but two, cause that's a lot of phyto toxins on it, which, basically, is the plant being like hey, don't eat me, right. And so it releases almost like a toxin into your body that cannot be good for you. So it's okay at times, obviously, like I just don't eat it every day, um, but yeah, that's something that you may have just learned about kale anyway. So let's find what is next in the grocery store.

Speaker 1:

I'm debating if I even put you know I'm going to post this. This is where I'm going to end the podcast. This is so random and I think that's the beauty of it. So anyway, guys, that's the Thanksgiving message. Be an enigma, be original, unfilter yourself and just let it flow and kind of see what happens. That's what I'm going to do with this. So you're seeing my lessons, live action. Anyway, that is the Tao of Truth, probably the least scripted and planned for episode of anything I've ever done. Hope you enjoy it and I'll see you, guys in the next episode. Happy Thanksgiving, peace.
